Mbappe Topical As World Clubs Restructure

Image
France's Captain and Paris Saint - Germain (PSG) forward, Kylian Mbappe seems to be the only player in the World that can change the strength of any club team in the coming 2023/2024 season as highlighted by media reports. Coaches and Clubs have been restructuring and strengthening their squads to perform better this coming next season. Liverpool team which finished on the fifth position on the recent 2022/2023 English Premiership League are rumoured to be interested in the French man whom they might likely be wrestled against by Real Madrid who are prepared to spend a whooping 250 million Euros. However, given the stingy record of Liverpool which made them part with Senegalese player Sadio Mane they might easily be defeated in the Mbappe money contest. Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari has great love for Liverpool and might be behind pushing her son to move to Anfield. It is now clear that PSG are eager to let the player go for millions rather than letting him go on a free transfe...

Biti Useless In Parliament

Image
Opinion A fact that triple C (Citizens Coalition for Change) leader, Mr Nelson Chamisa correlated was that his deputy,  Tendai  Biti was irrelevant in Parliament of Zimbabwe as it ceased to be a viral platform that could not be juxtaposed to the South African Parliament which can effect changes due to its practicability. The powers that be have the majority in Parliament and could probably direct the country were they see fit an attribution that can be alluded to the African socialist platform which former President Robert Mugabe was an astute student of. In socialism a leader(s) direct the people and not the other way round. If we recede back in time you would not tell Changamire Dombo of The Rozvi people (Zimbabwe's ancestoral leaders) what to do but he would tell his people the direction to take. In other words Biti's perspective is therefore not needed especially with the mindset of the African historical leadership that the powers that be have aligned the political ...

Religion: The Relevance Of Jesus Today

Image
With Hannock Ngaru  If anyone would want to talk about God today they have to include the historical Jesus and presence of the Holy Spirit who is in the World  today. The scripture is also an intergral reference that vividly articulates the reality of the Godhead and guides humanity to learn more about Him. Jesus as a person would enter the Synagogue, where doctors of the Law who studied about him but ignorantly missed his position during their time: open the book of the Law and would say this Word/Law has been fulfilled in your hearing referring to himself which would push the blinded learned men to try and stone him to death without much success though. "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” 22 So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?” (Luke 4.21, NKJV). This scripture is an epitome of the legendary Jesus who was part of the incarnated God who lived as a Jew but in...

Water Logging, Damps Farms In Cape Town

Image
The wet, cold winters' spell has dampened farms in the Western Cape province in Cape Town South Africa as most of the crops especially in the market gardening zone have been shattered by water logging. In Farms around Philipi today, farm managers were struggling to sell cash crop vegetables as they had been disturbed by the rains which characterise the winters this season. Most buyers were complaining of too much sand on vegetables, carrots and on other fresh produce from the farm that threatened to deter their retail businesses. Even though, water logging might be of concern the water table has risen to avert previous droughts that normally hit Cape Town.

SA Economy On The Mend

Image
Analysis South African market forces point to a mending economy due to several market indicators that have turned on a green light from an amber light that was flashing preparing to hit the red zone that signaled a plunge into recession. The dwindling of fuel prices which had soared is one of the quickest market indicators that signaled a stabilising economy which seemed to have slipped out of the State's control. Fuel especially petrol's price tag was slowly getting out of hand and affected the prices of daily necessities like bread. Petrol prices fell from around R22.30 to around R21.90 which is a good indication since it is quite unexpected to have a drop in fuel prices. Furthermore, another indicator that put Mzansi into the economic green zone is the availability of electricity which has powered the industrial zone which decried the loadshedding that was taking place even though, the expenditure has been passed on to the  consumers through the hiking of tarrifs. Although, ...

Mai Titi's Dirty Linen Still Hangs in Public

Image
Felistas Murata well known as Mai Titi continues to headline the media for the wrong reasons as woes continue to mount on her. The Zimbabwean social media comedian is at the centre of a fraud case according to media reports and social media. Mai Titi it is said has been dragged to court for failing to pay for the services of a vehicle she hired which had attracted a sum of USD 10 000. An amount she unfortunately cannot afford to pay and is at the centre of the courts which are yet to decide on her fate. Her case still holds comical effects as her pleas to be exonerated are a misnomer if found guilty as charged. She is recorded as pleading for mercy as a first offender, that she has children and unveiled her HIV status. However, Mai Titi remains a Zimbabwean caricature whose allegorical folklore will continue to bring comic relief to her country mates in their dire times.
