Arsenal win won't help Much

The Gunners' win a few hours ago at home (Emirates stadium) won't help them much in terms of reinstating them as English Premiership Log leaders as Manchester City has two games in hand which they are likely to win. Arsenal defeated Chelsea 3 - 1 a few hours ago to console themselves from a massacre they incurred from Etihad stadium over the past weekend. Martin Odegaard opened the score line in the 64th minute giving relief to Mikel Arteta an astute student of Pep Guardiola who once threatened his coach father by trying to wrestle the Premiership title from him. Odegaard the captain again to make a brace and Gabriel Jesus scored respectively to triple the score line whilst Noni Madueke scored a consolation goal for the visitors.

    Jurgen Klopp was a jovial man    Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp was a jovial Boss yesterday after the Reds managed to override a sudden comeback by Tottenham Hotspurs defeating them 4 - 3 at Anfield, in the die minutes of the match. Curtis Jones opened the score line in a surprise 3 minute strike registering the seriousness approach the Reds were commiting into the game. It was an Alexander Arnold assist that Jones converted. A fifth minute strike from Luis Diaz quickly turned the Anfield Stadium into an electric atmosphere filled with celebrations as it was a double for Klopp's men. Kolisi To Boost Springboks World Cup Team

      Springboks Captain : Siya Kolisi Springboks Captain, Siyamthanda Kolisi went through a successful surgery yesterday in Cape Town, South Africa after picking up an injury whilst turning out for his club: the Sharks against Munster last weekend in Durban. Media reports say it is highly likely that Kolisi will be fit to join the Springboks in their title defence in the rugby 2023 World Cup that will be played in France and begins on the 8th of September with the hosts France set to battle New Zealand.  Springboks are the current World Cup Champions after they defeated England in the tournament final match which was co - hosted by New Zealand and Australia in 2019. However, the Springboks face Scotland in pool B on the 10th of September  at 1745 hrs. Africa's representatives will only be South Africa and Namibia. Moreso, South Africa has been drawn in pool B alongside, Ireland, Scotland, Tonga and Romania. Springboks has won the World Cup tournament three times.

An avalanche of goals from an advancing Manchester City made Arsenal look ordinary as they quadrupled their score line to a single reply tonight at Etihad Stadium which was packed to the brim. De Bruyne opened the score line in the 7th minute stunning the Gunners who did not expect such, with Stones doubling the score line just before half - time in the 45th minute with a beautiful skillful header and in the 54th minute De Bruyne made it  three and a brace to his tally further denting the Gunners' hopes of pulling a come back. Holding managed to grab a consolation goal in the 86th minute which was later cancelled by City's Haarland in the 95th minute much to the detriment of Arsenal who couldn't do anything in the remaining 3 minutes.
