Kolisi To Boost Springboks World Cup Team

Springboks Captain, Siyamthanda Kolisi went through a successful surgery yesterday in Cape Town, South Africa after picking up an injury whilst turning out for his club: the Sharks against Munster last weekend in Durban. Media reports say it is highly likely that Kolisi will be fit to join the Springboks in their title defence in the rugby 2023 World Cup that will be played in France and begins on the 8th of September with the hosts France set to battle New Zealand.  Springboks are the current World Cup Champions after they defeated England in the tournament final match which was co - hosted by New Zealand and Australia in 2019. However, the Springboks face Scotland in pool B on the 10th of September  at 1745 hrs. Africa's representatives will only be South Africa and Namibia. Moreso, South Africa has been drawn in pool B alongside, Ireland, Scotland, Tonga and Romania. Springboks has won the World Cup tournament three times.
