Kolisi To Boost Springboks World Cup Team

      Springboks Captain : Siya Kolisi Springboks Captain, Siyamthanda Kolisi went through a successful surgery yesterday in Cape Town, South Africa after picking up an injury whilst turning out for his club: the Sharks against Munster last weekend in Durban. Media reports say it is highly likely that Kolisi will be fit to join the Springboks in their title defence in the rugby 2023 World Cup that will be played in France and begins on the 8th of September with the hosts France set to battle New Zealand.  Springboks are the current World Cup Champions after they defeated England in the tournament final match which was co - hosted by New Zealand and Australia in 2019. However, the Springboks face Scotland in pool B on the 10th of September  at 1745 hrs. Africa's representatives will only be South Africa and Namibia. Moreso, South Africa has been drawn in pool B alongside, Ireland, Scotland, Tonga and Romania. Springboks has won the World Cup tournament three times.

Game Over For Arsenal

An avalanche of goals from an advancing Manchester City made Arsenal look ordinary as they quadrupled their score line to a single reply tonight at Etihad Stadium which was packed to the brim. De Bruyne opened the score line in the 7th minute stunning the Gunners who did not expect such, with Stones doubling the score line just before half - time in the 45th minute with a beautiful skillful header and in the 54th minute De Bruyne made it  three and a brace to his tally further denting the Gunners' hopes of pulling a come back. Holding managed to grab a consolation goal in the 86th minute which was later cancelled by City's Haarland in the 95th minute much to the detriment of Arsenal who couldn't do anything in the remaining 3 minutes.

      The Scandal cast It's a daily half an hour long, South African soap opera that runs from Monday to Friday screened on Entertainment television (Etv) station on 19.30 pm since September 2005. The necessity for choosing to do a synopsis on Scandal is because it is too realistic it vibes with the true events that take place in South Africa.       Man City vs Arsenal in a previous encounter   Fierce football battle between Arsenal and Manchester City is billed this coming week on the 26th of April with the Gunners risking dethronement from the top of the EPL log if they lose their next match against Man City.  Man City host the Gunners at Etihad stadium with 2 games in hand even though, they trail behind with 5 points. The Gunners drew 3 all in their last match against Southampton in a match they were supposed to win to keep their hopes of lifting the EPL Trophy alive. EFF Leader Julius Malema Addresses Supporters after protests on Loadshedding.  Excess load shedding schedule from Eskom nationwide in South Africa may have a negative impact on the support base of the ruling African National Congress as it riled Julius Malema and his EFF to get into the streets in protests a few weeks ago. Haarland actually compansated his penalty miss after a ball to hand foul by a Munich defender. 100 Days Countdown To Netball World Cup

    South African national netball Team The Netball World Cup to be hosted in Africa for the first time clock tick down of 100 days began today in South Africa, Western Cape province, Cape Town at the Cape Town International Convention Center (CTICC). The Netball tornament will begin on Friday 28 July to Sunday 6 August 2023. Girls from Langa and other sorrounding suburbs gathered at CTICC to mark the beginning of the countdown which mimicked the ecstatic nostalgia of the 2010 soccer World Cup which was hosted in Africa for the first time.  South Africa which has never won the World Cup having been runners up to Australia in 1995 and achieving a third place in 1967 hope to use hosting advantage to win the tournament.     Zimbabwe national World Cup team  Africa will be represented by Zimbabwe, the hosts South Africa, Egypt, Malawi and Uganda. A brace from Brazilian star, Rodrygo in the 57th and 79th minute sailed Real Madrid past through Chelsea in the quarter - finals of the Champions' League played yesterday at Stamford Bridge in England.  The defending European Champions Real Madrid played well in a tightly contested match with the first assist coming from a Rodrygo rebound to Vinicious juniour who gave the former a second chance which he converted and the second goal was an assist from Velvede.
