Terrible Accident In Philipi

Cape Town, South Africa - A terrible accident happened today in the highway towards Philipi Chicken Farm area and a pedestrian was knocked dead by an oncoming Bakkie which couldn't stop as it is a non pedestrian zone. Police were on the accident scene and an approximately mid 20s young man laid motionless, lifeless and prostrait on the ground with a stream of blood flowing from his body. There were hardly locals on the scene as it is a non pedestrian zone. To cross the road in that area one has to use a pedestrian fly over. The area is a sensetive thieves hot spot zone so The Gaze did not dare stop to do investigations but the accident scene was self explainatory. However, as The Gaze staff passed by, Police were already putting red tapes to control traffic as it is impossible to halt them in that area. The front screen of the Bakkie crushed in and it showed that the pedestrian flew onto it before thundering down on the hard concrete tar road.
