Man City Wins UCL Title


In a hard fought encounter tonight at Ataturk stadium, Instabul, Turkey, Manchester City defeated Inter Milan to win the UEFA Champions' League match which was there only accolade that was left to put in their bag of Championship titles. Man City won by a goal to nil which was scored by the Spanish defensive midfielder Rodrigo Hernandez Cascante in the 68th minute of the second half of the match. Manchester City had never won the UCL Championship before and it was their first time to become Champions of Europe which did not come on a silver platter but they worked hard for it after passing through their major inhibition Real Madrid 5 - 1 on aggregate in the Semi - Final at Etihad stadium. It was as obvious at it sounded that they would sail through basing on their form but today's match on practical level did not exhibit what was on paper or on assumptions by supporters. However, City who lost Kevin De Bryune through injury and had to be replaced by Phil Foden soldeired on to be recorded in the anals of history for being consecutively English Club champions and European club champions as well. The match was played for more than 90 minutes with Ederson receiving a yellow card in the dying minutes of the match.
